WAPNG Featured Author: Ronald S. Barrios

Author Ronald S. Barrios has a blood dropping story he has written and gave his book that very title “Blood Drops.” In preparing this article on Author Ronald S. Barrios gathering the information to his inspiration to write takes it to his native roots growing up in Oakland California as a Mexican-American. He hungered to write as far back as he can remember and now as an adult his writing style has developed in a diverse direction that he describes as casual. His heart is only to reach readers and give apart of himself that best describe as passion and when you read his book, “Blood Drops” you will categorizing his writings as love. Love of writing is in every word written in his book the twists and turns will keep you up through the night just to know how it ends. This book was breathless, endearing, and at the same time it leaves you with a hunger for more this book could very well be a collection for your book shelf.

Author Ronald S. Barrios learned that there are two sides to the writing business. There’s the ‘Writing’ and there’s the ‘Business’. As an independent writer meaning doing it all your self which is what Author Ronald S. Barrios was committed to in order to reach his readers his way. He took on every aspect of the writing world and clearly states he wouldn’t have it any other way. He has always wanted to write novels the way he was feeling within the characters and the emotions without having to worry about compromising or losing the person he was as a writer.

Author Ronald S. Barrios expressed his personal goal is to connect with his readers through his writings which would be an impossible achievement if he waited for someone else to publish his work. He wanted the final say so on how his books where written and presented. Understand that the traditional publishing is not a bad thing; it just means that self-publishing is what worked for Author Ronald S. Barrios. Like anything else in life, you have to be true to yourself and not worry about what anyone else thinks or says.

Author Ronald S. Barrios shares his many lessons learned from his heart for his peers and the aspiring authors. Before you decide to write learn all you can about the genre you’ve chosen. Invest time in reading other writers, authors, and poets’ material. Take the necessary time to discover what you like and more importantly what you dislike. If you wouldn’t read your own books you can’t expect anyone else to want to read them. After that decided how you want your work published. Traditional publishing or self-publishing which is independently taking ownership of your work, your writing material, and the platform in which you soar. Learn all you can about both, the pros and cons, so you can make an intelligent decision as to the path you will take. Just remember that either choice will be hard but hard work always pays off.

If you’re writing for the money and fame that’ fine also, just be honest with yourself and others. Your word is all you have and if you’re not going to be honest using those words then what value can anyone expect from your writings?

Now that Author Ronald S. Barrios book is completed what he feels he would do different in getting “Blood Drops” published. Absolutely nothing, Barrios did his research and he expresses that he is pleased with where his writing career is at this point. He plans to continuously write more books in fact "Blood Drops" is only the first in the series of books called the Rey Series that will consist of different stories starring the same cast of characters in addition each book will have it's own story.

Author Ronald S. Barrios is working towards establishing his writing career and developing as a pillar to the literary world. He definitely can see himself sharing the wisdom and knowledge with his peers and at some point who really knows. Barrio has a confidence that will take him far knowing that the possibilities are endless. Just maybe he will start up a publishing company to help other authors. What better way to give back to my peers in the writing world besides who knows what the future holds?
